Hello families,

 

When your child is enrolled at our Centre, you are required to confirm the enrolment through myGov to enable Child Care Subsidy (CCS) payments.

 

In addition, families are required to have a Complying Written Arrangement (CWA) with their child care provider.( Ada Mary)

The CWA is a written agreement that records the details of your child’s care, including the child and family details, booking pattern and fees charged.

These agreements must be retained by us as part of our CCS records.

 

We have recently been advised of changes to the Department’s requirements regarding these agreements.

Following a recent Department audit ( unannounced Spot Check) of our CCS records, we are now required to ensure that a current CWA is completed and held on file for every child.

 

What families are now required to do

 

All families must complete a new CWA each year.

 

A new agreement will also be required when relevant details of the arrangement change, so anytime you change your booking, adding or removing days of care, different to your initial booking.

 

It is important that the CWA is signed by the parent who is registered with Centrelink and named on the agreement, as this is the parent associated with the CCS claim.

 

We ask that the parent registered with Centrelink, please come to reception to sign the new CWA.  We will not be sending the forms home with you, the correct parent needs to come to reception to sign the document, please.

 

We understand this is an additional administrative requirement for families; however, it is a requirement we must meet to ensure our Centre remains compliant with CCS legislation and Department requirements.
